Our busy and amazing students have finished another fantastic fortnight.

Carols by Candlelight - Armadale - tonight!
The Carols by Candlelight and Christmas Parade held on Friday 2 December commencing in the Jull Street Mall, Armadale followed by carols in Memorial Park. The John Wollaston Primary Choir will be singing as part of a combined Choir tonight at the Carols.

Ice-skating success
Year 9 student Sophie Hill is heading to Austria! Sophie's ice-skating team recently won Bronze in the National Championships held in Melbourne. This means the team qualifies to represent Australia at the MOZART CUP 2017 International Synchronized Skating Competition Salzburg, Austria during the January School holidays. Sophie is to be congratulated on her achievement.

Archery Incursion
Year 9 Outdoor Recreation held an Archery incursionon Monday 28 November.

Year 9 Wearable Waste competition winners
Highlights from other year groups include the Year 9 Wearable Waste competition winners for Mrs Gelmi’s Textile class. These students outclassed 111 students from across our State to win the competition with their lolly wrapper garment. Four Year 9 Textile students, Madelaine Sallie, Sasha Lewin, Karrina Cain and Rebecca Morrison submitted their dress that was made during a Textiles project: Unconventional Challenge. The students were placed equal first in the Young Reinverntor of the Year 2016 competition. They have been awarded is $500 to go towards a sustainability project for the School. On the morning of Wednesday 30 November a representative from the Minister for the Environment’s office Marcus Geisler, the Chairman of the Waste Authority visited the school for the presentation.
