Past Pupil wins TAFE honour
"SM TAFE student award winners announced"
South Metropolitan TAFE was proud to celebrate last year’s highest achieving students at the annual Awards Ceremony held at Crown Perth on 15 March. The ceremony saw more than 50 students win achievement awards, and seven students win major awards. Rheynece Ashe (Class of 2016) won an Achievement Certificate at the Award's Night for South Metropolitan TAFE.

University of Notre Dame Medicine Information Session
The University of Notre Dame is hosting its Medicine Course Information Session this Sunday 26 March from 10:45am with an 11am presentation start. This presentation is suitable for high school students and their parents who are looking to embark on a career in Medicine. We warmly invite your students on our campus for this unique event.

Are you an aspiring doctor?
We invite you to join us on campus for Notre Dame’s Medicine Information Session. Information about the Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Pre-Medicine Certificate (PMC) will be discussed including the application and selection process, course structure, and important dates and deadlines. You will also hear from current Medicine students on their experience of the course.

Sunday 26 March
10:45am for an 11am presentation
Venue: The University of Notre Dame Australia, Drill Hall (ND25) Corner of Croke & Mouat Street, Fremantle Light refreshments will be served.

US College Fair at Wesley College

Wesley College is pleased to announce it is hosting the Linden U.S.A College Fair from 5.30pm to 7.30pm on Monday 8 May 2017 in the Goatcher Auditorium, in the Joseph Green Centre, at Wesley College Corner of Angelo and Coode Streets, South Perth. We'd like to extend the invitation to families of all PSA and IGSA schools to attend. A number of U.S. colleges will have representatives in attendance at the fair (See list below). These colleges offer a diverse range of high-quality academic, sporting and cultural programs. For example, Embry Riddle Aeronautical University offers a range of courses in (but not limited to) aviation, aeronautics and aerospace, while Fairleigh Dickinson University has one of the top ranked business schools in the U.S.A. Seats are limited, so we request families RSVP here:

Try a Trade for two days
Year 10 Students can try a trade for two days -  (No cost!) Flyer : TryaTradeDay_Year10s

  • Wednesday 5 April - Thursday 6 April 2017
  • 8:30am - 3:15pm

Come and try:Electrical, Sheet metalwork & welding and Carpentry.

All students will do a full day in each trade area working on practical, hands on projects. Students must participate on both days. There is easy access to the College by train and/or bus. The College Café will be available to buy food and drinks.
