Secondary Sports Wrap
Cross Country
Year 8 student Dylan Bailey competed in the All Schools Cross Country on Friday 19 May coming second in the Boys 13 Years category. Dylan qualified for the WA State Cross Country Team who will complete in Tasmania in August. His sister Emily (who will be joining us at JWACS next year) has also qualified for the team.

Cross Country results 

Rowing
At the first All Schools Regatta for the season, the JWACS team looked really good out on the water in the school zooties. They had some really good wins and places for their races. Rhys and Regan were first in the Year 10 double scull. Bridget and Tiffany placed second in the Year 10 for the Double Scull. Bridget,Regan, Rhys, Tiffany and Zane (cox from Guildford) had a very good win in the combined Year 10 Quad Scull.

Water Polo starts at Cockburn Water Polo
Are you a good swimmer? Looking for a great water sport? Cockburn Water Polo has started its first training and games last week in a brand new, word class facility, the Cockburn ARC. In the inaugural session, 22 players and two experienced international level coaches took part. With former Olympic players amongst their members, Cockburn Water Polo welcomes everybody who would like to improve their water polo skills, their fitness or just to have some fun.
