Timothy Armstrong takes the prize

John Wollaston Year 8 student Timothy Armstrong won second prize in the Years 7 to 8 Category at the City of Armadale’s Young Writers’ Awards on Friday 1 September for his story Mwisho Kusimama. City of Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones OAM, JP said that this year the award attracted over 200 entries from students across the City.

Anglicare Dinner    

Friday 10 November 2017 | St George's Cathedral, Perth

The Angels Rising, Dinner in the Cathedral will be held on Friday 10 November. Tickets to this unique event are now on sale and limited to just 30 tables.

The evening is to support Anglicare WA’s Young Hearts program, a counselling service which helps lift children out of the damaging effects of domestic violence. The first of its kind to be held in majestic St George’s Cathedral, this exclusive summer soiree will be unlike anything you have experienced at a charity event in the past. Sponsorships, tables of ten seats in both the Gold and Silver Wings categories and individual tickets are now available. We’d love to see you there on the night!

VacSwim lessons cater for children (five to 17 years old) from beginner through to advanced survival, rescue and resuscitation.

The brand new Cockburn Aquatic and Recreation Centre (Cockburn ARC) is now open to enrolments for Stages 1 to 16 (previously only 5 to 16) for January Programs 1 and 2.
