ELC Nativity

elcforwayne
Our Early Learning Centre Nativity this morning was wonderful. As an Anglican School, the birth of Jesus is at the core of our very existence. The Pre-Primary and Year 1 students looked amazing in their costumes and the performances were full of joy and confidence. All of our staff do such an incredible job in organising such wonderful experiences for our students and I thank them all for their hard work and expertise.

Primary Celebrations
It is hard to believe we are rapidly approaching the end of 2017. Thank you to all families for your care and support over the year. This week we have all enjoyed some of the most important events in our school calendar. The Year 6 Valedictory and Exhibition on Monday night was, as always, a very special rite of passage as our Year 6 cohort transition into the Secondary School.

Praise and Thanksgiving Ceremony
I would like to invite all families to the Praise and Thanksgiving Ceremony on Tuesday 5 December in the BDISC at 9.00am. This is the time to celebrate student achievement and announce the Captains for 2018. We also say goodbye to Year 6 with a guard of honour as they move down to the Upper Primary Building for the last time. All students are expected to attend in formal uniform and the Primary School will close for the year at midday.

2018 Parent Information Night Wednesday 31 January 6:00pm
I look forward to seeing you all on the first day of school, January 31, 2018. Please place the Parent Information Night in your diary; 6:00pm on Wednesday 31 January. This is an opportunity to meet your child’s teacher and learn more about the academic and co-curricular program for the year ahead.

Access to SEQTA Engage
All families are reminded that student reports for Semester 2, 2017 will only be available through SEQTA Engage. If your child is leaving the School please download all important documents, including feedback statements, reports and NAPLAN results, as your access to SEQTA Engage will be closed at the commencement of 2018.
